What is your availability?
As the recognized experts in historic restorations and new floor installations in the Denver metro area, our availability is always changing. The best way to check our current availability is to contact our team and discuss your project.
How long will my project take?
- Installations of new floors average one to two weeks.
- Refinishes average three to four days.
- Restorations average one to two weeks.
- Maintenance service takes one day.
How much will my project cost?
The cost will depend on the nature and scope of your project. We’ll need to visit your home to provide an accurate quote. What we can say for sure is that we’re not the cheapest, but our prices are fair for the quality of work we do and the reliability we offer.
How many years have you been in business?
We have served the Denver metro area for over 35 years.
Do you have a showroom I can visit?
Yes, we do. We’re an established business with an actual showroom, not a fly-by-night operation run by “two guys with a truck.” Feel free to make an appointment to come see us at 2171 S. Trenton Way, Suite 221, Denver, Colorado, 80231.
How long have your employees worked for you?
Our foreman runs every project, and he has been with Van Camp’s for over 13 years. Other employees have varying years of service with our company, and we maintain relationships with former employees in case we need extra manpower. We work only with trustworthy craftsmen so we can deliver on our promises.
Do you use subcontractors?
Not often. When we do need extra manpower, almost all of our subcontractors are former employees of Van Camp’s. We will send only well vetted and known contractors to your home, and all are managed by full-time employees who will be at your home too. We’re a well-established, healthy business, and we never cut corners just to sell a job.
Where do you get the wood?
We source from local Colorado suppliers, so you can be assured that all wood used in your home has been properly acclimated to our dry climate and will not contain residual moisture or anything else that can cause warping.
How much dust will hardwood floor refinishing create?
Our sanding machines do a good job of picking up dust. We hang plastic as needed. Your floor will be dust free, but there may be a bit of dust on horizontal surfaces. We are as good as you can be with dust containment, but nobody can promise 100% zero dust.
How do I clean and care for my hardwood floors?
Properly finished hardwood floors are the easiest of all floor surfaces to keep clean. Simply be mindful of moisture and dirt. Spills should be taken care of as soon as possible. Floors should be vacuumed, or dust mopped as often as necessary to keep them free of dirt. Check our floor care guide for more information.
